Cancellation & Refund Policy
Effective Date: January 1, 2025
This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) describes when and how learners may cancel their enrollment and request a refund from Prepflix (“we”, “our”, “us”). By enrolling in any Prepflix program and making a payment, you agree to be bound by this Policy.
1) Definitions
- Batch Start / First Class: The date/time of your first mandatory session for the enrolled program (including orientation/meet-and-greet).
- Refund Window: The period of 14 (fourteen) days from the Batch Start.
2) 14-Day Refund Window
You may opt out of your enrolled program and request a refund by sending an email to prepflix.academy@gmail.com within 14 days from the Batch Start. Requests received after the Refund Window are not eligible for a refund (see Section 4).
- How to apply: Email subject “Refund Request – [Program Name] – [Your Name]”. Include your registered email/phone, payment reference/UTR, batch name, and Batch Start date.
- Mode of refund: Refunds are processed only to a domestic bank account via NEFT/IMPS/RTGS. We may request KYC and a cancelled cheque/first-page passbook for verification.
- Timeline: We strive to process approved refunds within 30 days of receiving all required information/documents.
- Access revocation: Once a refund is approved, your course access and services will be deactivated.
3) Valid Reasons for Refund
Refunds will only be considered valid within the Refund Window if the request falls under one of the following categories (supporting documents may be required where indicated):
- Duplicate Payment
- Eligibility Mismatch (by Prepflix)
- Technical Enrollment Error
- Incorrect Fee Charged (by Prepflix)
- Course Cancelled (by Prepflix)
- Non-Provision of Access
4) What Is (and Isn’t) Covered by a Refund
- Covered: Program fees paid to Prepflix for the enrolled batch, when a valid request is made within the Refund Window for reasons listed in Section 3.
- Not covered: Any third-party charges (payment gateway fees, loan processing fees, bank charges, interest, taxes borne by you) are not refundable by Prepflix.
- After Program Change/Reset: If you change programs or reset modules, the original Refund Window does not re-open.
- Lack of usage: Inactivity or dissatisfaction alone is not a ground for refund.
5) No Refund After 14 Days
No refunds are permitted after the 14-day Refund Window for any reason, including but not limited to schedule changes, workload, relocation, or preference changes. Please see Section 6 for post-window remedies we offer to help you continue your learning journey.
6) Post-Window Remedies (Non-Monetary)
To support learners beyond the refund period, we may provide operational remedies (subject to availability and program rules), including:
- Pause: Temporarily pause your progress; access to past recordings and doubt support may continue during pause (exact entitlements vary by program).
- Reset: Redo recent modules or move back to a prior module to catch up.
- Batch Transfer: Shift to another batch when the same module is scheduled next.
These remedies are subject to eligibility, capacity, and administrative limits. They are not substitutes for refunds and do not create any cash entitlement.
7) EMI / ECS / Loan Partners
- If you used a third-party loan/EMI or set up an ECS mandate, you remain responsible for that arrangement. Prepflix cannot cancel third-party obligations or refund partner fees.
- If your refund is approved within the Refund Window, we will refund only the fees received by Prepflix. You must separately settle or close any third-party finance per that provider’s terms.
8) Service Delivery, Changes & Availability
Programs may evolve (curriculum updates, schedule adjustments, feature changes). Access to recordings, TA/community support, mentoring, mock interviews, and related resources collectively constitute service delivery. Reasonable changes or temporary platform outages shall not, by themselves, entitle you to a refund outside the Refund Window.
9) Fraud, Chargebacks & Abuse
Initiating chargebacks without first contacting Prepflix may be treated as misuse. We reserve the right to suspend accounts, withhold certifications, or pursue recovery where fraud or abuse is suspected.

11) Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts having jurisdiction over our principal place of business shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or in connection with this Policy.
12) Updates to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Your continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
